Don't Sweat My Socks!

So Fashionistas ….I know you ladies have been seeing the trend with socks and heels.
 Now I must say this is totally old news I wore them once back in 2009 but I couldn’t find anymore cute socks so I digressed lol.

I think its ultra chic depending on how you dress it.
I’ve caught myself wearing them with short skirts and same color heels. I think I’m going to try different color heels with black socks or something. I’ll be sure to post it.

Memorial Day Weekend Madness

What a weekend!! Memorial Day Weekend (MDW) for some reason is always eventful...Other than the fact that we salute our fallen soldiers. I feel its like the weekend that kicks off the summer shenanigans, though its not officially summer (which is June 21st ).

Music makes me smile within even if my face has another story.
I feel you can always find a song that tells the story that is hidden in your heart.
Now for some emo, eccentric and unknowing reason, I absolutely love The Weeknd. I can literally lay at home in bed and listen to all three of his mixtapes ( I always skip Dirty Diana .. I just can't vibe with that song)

Living In the "Luxe Life"

Like every girl, I love a store that I can walk into, knowing that I'm not going to leave looking like a mannequin. Lol

The boyfriend calls me and states "tomorrow we're having dinner with friends", my initial thought was "GREAT" but at that moment my wheels starts to turn "how should I wear my hair?", 
"I should repaint my nails", Finally the dreadful question came to mind ..."What am I going to wear?!?!"
I rummaged through my closet for about a good hour, giving myself every excuse on why the outfits I wanted to wear weren't going to work.

Good Afternoon Fashionistas!!

I love the weekends for so many reasons. One I get to play to dress up and get out of my routine work clothes. And secondly free time to read, watching my guilty pleasure reality tv and catch up with my girls.

Last weekend I had the pleasure of going to a fashion show here in Houston hosted by Preme which was showcasing a clothing line called 2African Girls ultra fab clothes!! (I'll give details to the store below)
I had an a amazing time look forward to seeing more from the lovely ladies. I totally tried to do my makeup like I once learned from a friend of mine (Jspice Makeup). How do you guys think I did?
