"Young West African Girl"

Hi my lovely fashionistas!
Today's post is about my culture and it's array of fashion involved.I am a Nigerian, which is located in the West part of Africa.
As we all know tis the season of weddings!! Well as a Nigerian bride, not only is your task is to make sure you and your bridal party look exceptionally well, but you also get to involve family and friends in Aso Ebi, which is basically, Nigerian outfits made from matching fabric to be worn by a group of people to a wedding as a uniform. So you could have a group for college friends, cousins, aunts and so on. This weekend I had the privilege of participating in an Aso Ebi for a childhood friend.

The first one was for the engagement party, which included an olive green crush velvet with lime green French Lace.
The second one was for the wedding, is a brown velvet material accompanied by a Peach French lace.
The cool part of Aso Ebi is whatever material you purchase from the bride you can make into any design you'd like.
That's a little history mixed with fashion. Hope you ladies enjoyed the post. Until next time.
Besos.
Live, Love and Stay Fab.
